Ernesto A' de Lima: Representative Director and Chief Executive Officer , EDL Hospitality Asia
Ernesto A'de Lima formed EDL Hospitality Asia in August 2012, an asset management and consulting company specializing in the hospitality sector. Based in Tokyo, Japan and prior to forming this company, he was Director Hospitality Group Japan and Asia region for Goldman Sachs Realty Japan, Chief Operating Officer of Archon Hospitality (a GS company). From May 2007 until September 2012 and subsequently, Chief Operating Officer of Abilitas Hospitality. Today he is also Chapter President in Japan for EcoleHoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland.
Ernesto A'de Lima's career began in 1984 with Hyatt International, where he held positions in North and South America, Asia and the Pacific, with a particular focus on development, openings and Food and Beverage. He was a Manager of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok in 1996, General Manager of Park Hyatt Melbourne in 1999, General Manager of Park Hyatt Sydney in 2001 and General Manager of Park Hyatt Seoul in 2006
